Haylia offers similar features as other blog tools. If you've never used a blog before, not to worry — we've made it easy. We're not trying to be everything to everyone. Instead, we've focused on a core set of features and tried to make them feel like second-nature.

Add new posts quickly

Once you've logged in, just click on the Add Post button on any page within your blog. From there, all you need is a title and the message. We also have an editor, allowing you to format your post with a little more flair without having to know HTML (the stuff web pages are made of).

Protection

If you want to keep things a little more private, we give you options. At one level, we allow your friends and family to check out your site while doing our best to keep Google, Yahoo, and other search engines from linking to you. In addition, you can set a password that you can send to friends and family — keeping prying eyes from ever seeing your posts or photos.

We also work hard to make sure your blog is kept free of spam. You have control over what stays on your site. If somebody leaves a comment you don't like (whether it's a spammer or your mean aunt Eunice) you can remove it from your blog.

Photo Gallery

Sharing photos is one of the best parts of the adoption process. Photos can be added to each blog entry. All photos are then available from the photo gallery where people can flip through all the photos you've uploaded. You can even view them in a slideshow!
